Control-panel function study

The interface architecture is intentionally defined by function first. Final buttons may be sealed mechanical switches, tactile controls, touch interfaces, indicator lamps or a hybrid.

Safety Architecture

Non-bypassable safety functions

Product rule

No animal mode by default. Service, calibration and unvalidated experimental modes require an empty enclosure.

Emergency stop

Immediate path to safe state; acoustic drive removed.

Access / door interlock

Unsafe acoustic or mechanical states inhibited when protected access opens.

Occupancy logic

Product-specific presence rules are enforced before the cycle can start.

Thermal monitoring

Transducer, driver, chamber/fluid/air and human temperatures monitored as applicable.

Acoustic / impedance monitoring

Abnormal loading, resonance or feedback causes derating, pause or shutdown.

Fluid / leak monitoring

Water level, dry-fire risk, leak and overflow handled independently of user commands.

Airflow / pressure monitoring

Required extraction flow must be present for dependent modes.

Sensor disagreement

Critical sensor failure or disagreement forces safe degradation or shutdown.

Service mode lockout

Experimental, calibration or advanced sensor modes cannot bypass occupancy rules.
