Local Proper Time
The time measured along a person’s, habitat’s, instrument’s, or vessel’s own worldline remains primary evidence. Higher-level coordination never overwrites it.
Chrono-Anchor treats civilization-scale timekeeping as recoverable agreement among declared reference frames—not as one universal clock. Every usable chronology must preserve local proper time, expose uncertainty, retain provenance, and refuse to turn agreement into historical certainty.
Relativity supplies no physically privileged galactic present. A trustworthy chronology therefore records who measured an event, in which frame, under which model, with what uncertainty, and through which transformation history.

Shared time is an engineered convention tied to an epoch, origin, reference frame, model version, and uncertainty—not a metaphysical master timeline.
Corrections add new interpretation layers while preserving original observations, competing hypotheses, dissent, and custody history.
Each layer must keep its scientific status visible. Speculative capability inherits the discipline of established measurement; it does not inherit established proof.
Proper time, atomic and optical clocks, two-way time transfer, relativistic corrections, ensembles, uncertainty budgets, and authenticated records.
Large optical-clock networks, space optical links, chronometric geodesy, autonomous relativistic navigation, and quantum-enhanced clock comparison.
Anchorpoint reference services, discontinuous-transit reconciliation, branch provenance, cross-continuity chronology, and explicitly hypothetical QFL temporal relays.
Temporal Prime Directive, distributed chronology governance, independent evidence custody, explainable refusal, and equal standing for lived continuities.
Clocks can agree while an event is forged, misread, or politically manipulated. Synchronization and historical verification remain separate functions.
A vessel emerging from a speculative discontinuous transit preserves onboard proper time and remains in chronology quarantine until external evidence supports a defensible relationship to the destination frame.
No central node, political body, or intelligence may silently redefine chronology or delete dissenting evidence. Refusal must preserve an explainable record and human-governance review.
Synchronization can provide timing evidence but cannot authorize rescue. A licensed extraction remains limited to a causally locked historical death or disappearance and must leave the recorded outcome unchanged.
A divergent continuity is not “wrong” because it differs from an archive baseline. Its identity is carried through provenance, causal ancestry, and declared transformation assumptions.
This page summarizes the non-confidential architecture. Detailed mechanisms, operational thresholds, security implementation, and private story-production records remain controlled.
