Coordination without an absolute “now”
Relativity supplies no physically privileged galactic present. A trustworthy chronology therefore records who measured an event, in which frame, under which model, with what uncertainty, and through which transformation history.
Declared Coordinate Time
Shared time is an engineered convention tied to an epoch, origin, reference frame, model version, and uncertainty—not a metaphysical master timeline.
Traceable Transformation
Corrections add new interpretation layers while preserving original observations, competing hypotheses, dissent, and custody history.

Operational Integrity
Chronology Is Not Truth
Clocks can agree while an event is forged, misread, or politically manipulated. Synchronization and historical verification remain separate functions.
Transit Quarantine
A vessel emerging from a speculative discontinuous transit preserves onboard proper time and remains in chronology quarantine until external evidence supports a defensible relationship to the destination frame.
No Silent Override
No central node, political body, or intelligence may silently redefine chronology or delete dissenting evidence. Refusal must preserve an explainable record and human-governance review.
Canon Lock
Temporal Prime Directive: timing knowledge does not create intervention rights. Observe, verify, preserve, and learn; do not reshape a lived continuity for preference, advantage, or regret.
Temporal Rescue Boundary
Synchronization can provide timing evidence but cannot authorize rescue. A licensed extraction remains limited to a causally locked historical death or disappearance and must leave the recorded outcome unchanged.
Continuity Is Not Ranked
A divergent continuity is not “wrong” because it differs from an archive baseline. Its identity is carried through provenance, causal ancestry, and declared transformation assumptions.
