ZG© Standards Initiative

ZG© is a public-facing design-mark concept for products and spaces intended for orbital, habitat, or constrained-resource environments. It is not a government certification, NASA approval, ISO standard, UL listing, or legal compliance mark. The purpose is to define an Aurora Design Systems visual and editorial boundary for habitat-safe materials, low-water operation, low debris, low fire risk, maintainability, serviceability, pressure-environment compatibility, and resource recovery. The mark should be used sparingly and clearly, especially on OSTRA, hygiene, hospitality, and space-product pages where public confusion must be avoided.

ZG© is a design-mark language, not a regulatory certification.

The public structure clarifies that ZG© marks Aurora Design Systems concepts for zero-gravity and constrained-resource environments. It supports habitat-safe materials, low debris, low water use, serviceability, containment, resource recovery, and clear public labeling without implying NASA, ISO, UL, or government approval.

Low-debris design

Fasteners, packaging, filters, textiles, and service panels should reduce loose material and capture risk.

Habitat-safe materials

Material language prioritizes fire risk, off-gassing, cleaning, compatibility, maintainability, and marking clarity.

Resource recovery

Water, air, waste, cartridges, and consumables are framed as recoverable system streams wherever practical.

Label discipline

ZG© stays an internal design mark unless formal legal, regulatory, or standards pathways are separately created.
