Architecture
The platform is organized around perception, localization, target classification, intervention planning, independent safety authorization, actuation and post-action verification. Optional modules extend the platform into irrigation, nutrient delivery, crop scouting and selective crop protection.
Individual-plant management
USDA research programs explicitly describe agricultural robotics as an enabler for moving from management zones toward individual-plant management. Aurora uses that as the organizing principle for the branch.
Phase 3 technology architecture
The technology gateway now separates 18 reusable engineering capabilities covering AI perception, edge and neuromorphic computing, multispectral sensing, event vision, semiconductor/photonics platforms, GaN/SiC power electronics, MEMS/microfluidics, solid-state plant and soil sensors, autonomy, manipulation, drones, precision dosing, power, networking and independent safety interfaces.

Maturity
Laser weed control and machine-vision precision agriculture are commercial realities. Species-selective optical insect interception has field-scale proof-of-concept evidence but should be treated as emerging rather than equivalent in maturity to commercial weed control.
Product-family control
The product baseline uses stable primary families with model variants by scale and task. New variants should reuse AgroCore sensing, safety, networking and interface standards rather than creating isolated one-off machines.
