The complete assembly concept and its component arrangement were developed by Evan Coffield. The new portfolio rendering was rebuilt from his supplied CAD image and preserves the original overall architecture.

What the design involved

Developed the complete lamp assembly and overall product architecture.
Integrated the spiral compact-fluorescent envelope with the upper support and internal component package.
Organized the cylindrical body, structural interfaces and screw-base connection into a compact vertical assembly.
Considered component access, assembly sequence, packaging space and thermal separation as parts of one product.
