Appendix A

Core Architecture & Compute Domains

This appendix preserves the high-level interface map at readable scale while keeping implementation-specific routing logic and proprietary engineering detail offline.

Janus-X generalized compute domain interface map
Public compute-domain interface map. The diagram communicates architectural relationships and heterogeneous-domain abstraction; it is not an implementation specification.

Public interpretation

The central idea is separation between cognitive workload intent and the physical hardware domain used to execute it. Public discussion can describe capability classes—conventional, accelerated, neuromorphic, photonic, edge, and future research domains—without disclosing proprietary selection logic or internal control parameters.

Protected boundary

Exact arbitration methods, internal control logic, private performance margins, proprietary hardware interfaces, unreleased device structures, and reproduction-enabling implementation details remain outside this public appendix.
