Warp Probe Communications
A communications and data-integrity layer for future field-probe experiments: command authority, conventional fallback links, time reference, blackout prediction, store-and-forward telemetry, and preservation of anomalous evidence.
The experiment is worthless if the evidence cannot survive it.
Before activation
Synchronize independent clocks, calibrate sensors, establish conventional reference links, and freeze command authorization.
During the event
Buffer raw data locally, preserve provenance, record field-state transitions, and tolerate predicted communication interruptions.
After recovery
Reconcile clocks, compare redundant records, verify hashes and chain of custody, and separate instrument artifacts from physical anomalies.
Communications before faster-than-light claims
The near-term program uses ordinary radio, optical telemetry, onboard storage, and independent timing. Any claimed nonclassical propagation would require repeatable measurements, multiple independent instruments, controls, and external review.
