Architecture role
A dense farm-wide laboratory is impractical, but inexpensive solid-state sensors can provide frequent local measurements that guide where higher-value inspection or treatment should occur.
Core capabilities
- Capacitive or dielectric soil-moisture sensing.
- Temperature, humidity and conductivity measurements near roots and canopy.
- Ion-selective or chemical sensing where calibration, fouling and lifetime are acceptable.
- Leaf- or stem-adjacent sensors for selected physiological measurements.
- On-node calibration checks and drift detection before data is trusted for dosing.
Aurora design direction
Aurora should combine permanent low-cost nodes with mobile reference measurements. That allows AgroCore to identify bad sensors and avoids acting on one drifting probe as if it were ground truth.
