Visual & Navigation Consistency

This page sets the visual and navigation rules for keeping ADS coherent as more products, divisions, galleries, and public summaries are added.

← Back to web architecture

Root Homepage

Use broad division cards with only selected flagship links. Do not overload the homepage with every concept.

Division Pages

Expand 5–12x with subcards, program clusters, and short public summaries. This is where most product density belongs.

Program Pages

Use detailed public summaries, subsystem cards, status strips, disclosure boundary notes, and links back to parent divisions.

Navigation

Top navigation must link to actual index.html files, not bare folders, to prevent directory listings and broken browsing behavior.

Visual Consistency

Maintain consistent typography, hierarchy, rounded cards, metadata placement, spacing, and public/private language.
