Semiconductor, Photonic & Electronic Platforms

The electronic nervous system behind sensing, compute, power conversion, photonics and distributed control.

Maturity Enabling platform

Architecture role

Semiconductor technology is not a product by itself; it is the enabling layer that makes compact perception, edge AI, laser control, motor drives, communications and safety supervision practical across every scale class.

Core capabilities

  • CMOS image sensors, depth sensors and specialized optical detectors.
  • AI accelerators, microcontrollers, FPGAs and safety processors distributed near the function they serve.
  • Semiconductor laser drivers and precision timing electronics.
  • GaN/SiC/Si power devices for motors, charging, pumps and high-efficiency conversion.
  • MEMS sensors, valves, mirrors and microfluidic components where miniaturization improves control.

Aurora design direction

Aurora should design a modular electronics backbone with replaceable sensor/compute nodes rather than burying all intelligence in one central computer. That improves serviceability, wiring efficiency and product scalability.
