Architecture role

Agricultural autonomy combines traction, compute, sensing, actuators, pumps and sometimes high-peak-power photonics. The power system must isolate faults and preserve enough reserve energy to reach a safe state.

Core capabilities

  • Battery-electric or hybrid architectures selected by duty cycle and operating scale.
  • Separate regulated buses for propulsion, compute/sensors, tools and independent safety loads.
  • GaN/SiC conversion where efficiency, size, switching speed or thermal performance justify it.
  • Docking, opportunity charging and renewable-energy integration.
  • Power-state estimation and guaranteed emergency reserve for controlled shutdown.

Home products favor quiet low-voltage battery operation. Field systems can use larger battery packs, hybrid power or tractor interfaces while retaining isolated safety and compute power domains.
