Safety is not delegated to the task AI. Any machine capable of emitting laser energy, moving autonomously, flying, cutting, trimming or manipulating crops requires an independent safety path with authority to inhibit the mission system.

- Independent safety controller separate from the primary AI/task computer.
- Human, animal and protected-species exclusion logic using redundant sensing where risk warrants it.
- Physical shutters, contactors, braking paths and emergency-stop channels independent of software intent.
- Fail-safe behavior for low power, sensor disagreement, processor faults, communications loss and overheating.
- Event logging, self-test, maintenance lockout and controlled service modes.
